The Community Health and Safety Education (CHASE) initiative in DeKalb County focuses on promoting public health and safety through community engagement and education. They assess candidates' positions on health and safety issues pertinent to the county.
Decaturish Q&A: Decaturish is a local news outlet serving the Decatur and DeKalb County areas. Their candidate Q&A sessions provide a platform for candidates to discuss their policies and respond to community concerns, aiding voters in understanding their choices.
DeKalb Citizens Advocacy Council Q&A:
The DeKalb Citizens Advocacy Council is dedicated to ensuring transparency and accountability within DeKalb County’s government. Through initiatives like candidate surveys and public forums, DCAC educates residents on local governance issues and advocates for ethical reforms. Their work empowers citizens to engage with county decision-making processes and promotes a responsive, integrity-driven government.
SDIAE/NLCA Questionnaire:

Advocates for DeKalb Animals
AfDA is a grassroots nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing the animal welfare crisis in DeKalb County. Since 2012, AfDA has been instrumental in pushing for a larger and better-equipped animal shelter, moving the county towards a no-kill policy, and helping pass laws that protect animals from harm.
